Which Hand Should You Read?
One of the first questions I am asked concerning Palm Reading is which hand do I read for a client. The answer may be Both. Reading the heart line, life line and various mounts are the basis of palm reading.
Palm reading palmistry distinguishes between the passive and active hand. A right-handed individual’s active hand will be his or her right hand and the left hand is considered the passive hand. Similarly, a left-handed person’s active hand is the left hand and his or her passive hand is the right hand.
The passive hand is generally read for inherited characteristics and potential.
The active hand shows changes to these inherited traits.
In accurate palm reading, when the lines and markings on the active and passive hands are quite different, as a general rule, it shows a person who has actively worked toward self-development.
What is Palm Reading or Palmistry?
The art of palm reading or palmistry, is based on the idea that you may reveal a persons inherited characteristics and potential based on the imprints and markings found in the palm of their hands. Lines on the palm may either be large and thick or thin and small. Mounts, markings and how the lines cross or interact with one another on both the active and passive hands are considered during a palm reading. In some cases characteristics of the arm, fingers and nails will also be considered in the reading when determining the characteristics of the person whose palm is being read.
